Five Decades of FES at York: The Praxis of Environmental Studies examines the rise of environmental studies programs in Canada’s higher education institutions. It focuses on the 1968 founding of the Faculty of Environmental Studies at York University in Toronto, tracing the evolution of its innovations in curriculum and administration. The book grew out of a collaboration between one of the faculty’s founders and a recent faculty member.
