A Day in the Life of an Engineer

A broadband, multimedia web feature presenting a typical day in the lives of five Aboriginal engineers from across Canada.

Created in collaboration with the Native Access to Engineering Program, we follow the engineers from dawn to dusk and discover engineering from an Aboriginal perspective as a holistic, sustainable and environmentally-conscious profession. Five dynamic Flash games, thematically linked to each portrait, illustrate practical applications of math and science principles and present challenging problems involving real world situations. The web feature is highly interactive and features video clips, text, maps, interactive graphics, photos, narration, soundscapes, technical glossaries and links to information and educational resources.
