Under Lock & Key: The Unican Story conveys a rich slice of Canadian commercial history. Aaron Fish started out running a modest family-owned hardware store on Montreal’s St. Lawrence Boulevard, and went on to create the first push-button lock in North America and become the largest maker of key blanks and key copying machines in the world.
Not a dry business book – Aaron Fish gives us a glimpse into the lost world of the lively Jewish community that grew up around the Main, with many archival photos and illustrations, before describing the steps that built his business into a multinational security firm.
